Tower Pinball
Privacy Policy
Effective 9 September 2026. Applies to Tower Pinball for iPhone and iPad, made by Tim Mueller (Sleep Laugh).
In short
Tower Pinball does not collect, store, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party code that reports back to anyone. This page says what little the game keeps on your device, and what Apple's Game Center does if you use it.
On your device
The game remembers a few things so it can pick up where you left off: your settings (music, haptics, difficulty, how much the backdrop moves), your best scores, which tips and tour screens you have already seen, and which Game Center achievements have already been reported. All of it lives in the app's own storage on your device. The game never sends it anywhere. Delete the app and it is gone. If you back your device up to iCloud or a computer, it is part of that backup the way every app's settings are.
Game Center
Game Center is Apple's service, and using it is optional. If you are signed in to Game Center on your device, the game sends Apple your final score after each finished game, for the Rocket Range leaderboard, and reports achievements as you earn them. Apple sends back your rank, how many players are on the board, and the top score, and the game prints those on the menu. Apple handles all of it under Apple's privacy policy. The game never sees your Apple Account, your name, or your friends.
To stop scores from being posted, sign out of Game Center in the Settings app on your device. The game then keeps your best score on the device only. Parents can turn Game Center off for a child's account with Screen Time.
Motion
You can nudge the table by leaning your phone. To feel the lean, the game reads the device's motion sensors while you play, and it uses the same reading to shift the backdrop a little as you move. The readings are used in the moment and thrown away; nothing about how you move is recorded or sent anywhere. If you would rather not, a two-finger tap nudges the table the same way, and the game respects the Reduce Motion setting in the iOS Accessibility settings.
Nothing else
The game does not use your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or notifications, and never asks for them. It has no login, no advertising, no analytics or crash-reporting service, and no third-party software development kits. It does not track you across other apps or websites. It plays entirely offline; the only network traffic it ever makes is the Game Center traffic described above, and only when you are signed in.
Children
Tower Pinball is a game for anyone old enough to hold a phone in two hands, and it collects no information from anyone, children included. It has no chat, no links out to the web, and nothing to buy.
Purchases
This version has nothing to buy: Rocket Range is complete and free. If a future table is sold, it will be sold through Apple's App Store like any other purchase, and the game will never see your payment details.
Changes, and questions
If the game ever changes what it keeps or sends, this page will change with it and the date at the top will move. Questions about any of this: support@sleeplaugh.net. Everything else about the game is on the support page.
