Jellyfish Journey

Privacy Policy

Effective 28 September 2026. Applies to Jellyfish Journey for iPhone and iPad (on the App Store as The Jellyfish Journey), made by Tim Mueller (Sleep Laugh).

In short

Jellyfish Journey does not collect, store, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party code that reports back to anyone, and the game never connects to the internet. This page says what little the game keeps on your device.

On your device

The game remembers a few things so it can pick up where you left off: which animals and places you have met, which the wall of animals shows, and which gentle hints it has already shown. All of it lives in the app's own storage on your device. The game never sends it anywhere. Delete the app and it is gone. If you back your device up to iCloud or a computer, it is part of that backup the way every app's settings are.

Read-aloud

When you tap the speaker on an animal's page, the page is read aloud by the voices built into iOS, on your device. Nothing is recorded, and nothing is sent anywhere.

Nothing else

The game does not use your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or notifications, and never asks for them. It has no login, no advertising, no analytics or crash-reporting service, and no third-party software development kits. It does not track you across other apps or websites. It works entirely offline and makes no network connections at all.

Children

Jellyfish Journey is made for young children, and for anyone who likes a calm ocean. It collects no information from anyone, children included. It has no chat, no links out to the web, no ads, and nothing to buy.

Changes, and questions

If the game ever changes what it keeps, this page will change with it and the date at the top will move. Questions about any of this: support@sleeplaugh.net. Everything else about the game is on the support page.
